What We Believe
Tennessee students deserve bold leadership. We champion candidates who put families,academic achievement, and transparency above politics. And, we hold every elected official accountable for how they lead on K–12 education.
Our Mission
To advance student-first policies by influencing elections, shaping public opinion, and mobilizing Tennesseans across the state to demand better from their leaders.
Our Approach
We recruit and elect strong candidates to lead. We fight for pro-student legislation. We expose barriers to opportunity. We mobilize voters who want better for their children.
What we do
Candidate Recruitment
Public Opinion Polling
We conduct high-quality, voter-focused polling to understand what Tennesseans want from their education system. Our polling informs our legislative strategy, our candidate work, and the broader public debate.
Legislation Tracker
To provide transparency in our policy priorities, TennesseeCAN Action Fund compiles a list of key policy proposals that will have significant impact on K-12 education.
Legislator Scorecard
Tennesseans deserve to know how their elected officials vote on student-first policies. Our Legislator Scorecards will track key education votes each legislative session and measure who stands with students.
